Margaret Fuller, an extraordinary life and tragic death

I'm reading a biography of Margaret Fuller, friend of Emerson, Thoreau, etc., the transcendentalists who lived mostly in Concord, Mass. Margaret Fuller - Wandering Pilgrim

She had a difficult childhood with a tyrannical father, and grew up to be a feminist way ahead of her time. Tragically, the ferry she was on crashed with another boat, and she drowned. Her body was never found.

She became friends with Sophia Peabody Hawthorne, the subject of my next bio novel, and Sophia's sister Elizabeth. Margaret's a figure well deserving of her own bio novel...something to think about.
